Fun Things

I went to the public library after class today. I was like a kid going to a candy store! The selection of fiction books there was great! Even better than those in the University Library. I sat there for 2 hours and I finished reading a book! I am really proud of myself. =)

Now I am torn between spending time at the gym and the library. =( I wanna do both!

Blackout

I had a blackout episode today, at the gym. Thank God Dennis was there. I knew what I was going through then and I was telling myself to fight it, to not blackout; but to no avail. It was scary. It was dark and I felt alone, emptiness... I had no idea how long my blackout episode lasted, but I am grateful d-loh was there.

Ellen Degeneres Show

Nope, I am not going for it. I so wanted to go, but the ticket was sold out the minute they were posted online. I tried everything I possibly could; I tried buying ticket online 3 days straight thinking there might still be tickets, today I called the ticket office and now I gave up.

Someone with a ticket for TBS Just For Laughs-Ellen Degeneres Chicago , June 16 2009 show please give it to me... I will love you so much, trust me I will.

Oh well... So I needed something to console me right?(Oh no... My Econ prof virus is catching up) There is only one way! Food! I am eating my Belgian chocolates while watching Ellen Degeneres on Youtube! There we go! Yippie...

Laptop died...

I'm so sad my Acer laptop died on me again... It is not the first time this has happened. The previous two times, I managed to revive it. Today, everything just didn't seem to work. I am bringing lappy to the witch doctor, d-loh, to help me fix it. I have other laptops to use, Mini and Apple B, but I'm feeling so sad... I was just simply too attached to lappy. =(

Hopefully all will be fine tomorrow.

Mouse in House!

I saw Mickey Mouse today... Not Mickey Round... That is my sleeping buddy.

I was at Geraldine's place, cooking, when suddenly her housemate screamed. There was a mice under the couch. Her mom moved the couch and the mice ran into Geraldine's room. When that happened, all three of us were screaming and standing on chairs... It was hilarious. Haha...

Anyways, Geraldine was leaving town today so she needed to pack stuff from her room. Being a good friend, I accompanied her to her room so that she could clear up and pack her luggage.

Mickey Mouse decided to escape and Geraldine saw it! She screamed and guess what? The mice jumped! Hahahaha... That was super funny! Of course the mice didn't get to escape, but Geraldine and I dashed out of the room, laughing.

We both went out after that and soon after, the mice decided to leave Geraldine's room. I think the mice didn't like it there after all. =)

Ma, you should be really proud of me... I no longer stand on chairs and scream when I see mice. I am now able to be in a room with mice. I think that is an accomplishment! Don't you?

The Curse

I was getting a signature from a prof today and later after signing my form, he asked me, "Are you from Malaysia?"

Wow... I am impressed. I asked him how did he know and he said that he recognized the accent. Haha... It is like a curse. Everywhere you go, people will know that you are from Malaysia by the way you speak. Well, I don't really think that it is a curse, I am happy to know that after four years here, I am still me afterall...
